5. I have a strong chest voice
6. I need the song to be at least a little upbeat
7. The song needs to be appropriate
ThAnK yOu So MuCh!!!!!! <3
P.s I'd like more than one option and website would work too :)
ThAnKs AgAiN tHiS mEaNs ThE wOrLd To Me :)Here's a tip, pick a song you know and like.
I'm sure you've seen Disney movies and other musicals. Go to the video store, rent some musicals and learn some songs.
I don't think anyone would be able to pick a song for you to be honest.
Here are some suggestions. In the future, it would be helpful to know what show you are auditioning for so the suggestions can be tailored a bit more to fit the style of the show. Break a leg at your audition!
I Love You Song - an Olive solo (Putnam County Spelling Bee)
Knowing When To Leave (Promises Promises)
I Don't Know How To Love Him (Jesus Christ Superstar)
What Did I Ever See in Him? (Bye Bye Birdie)
I Know The Truth (Aida)
Better (Little Women)
When We Are Wed (Once On This Island)
Sweet Liberty (Jane Eyre)
Frank Mills (Hair)
But Not For Me (Crazy For You)

How do you become an actor?
-well, I've become very interested in acting and after researching for hours and days and weeks. . . I know you need acting classes to become an actor. I'm only 14 and I am interested in acting in films and shows and whatnot's. I want to know if you definitely need to take acting classes to audition- where can I audition and more. I have no experience besides a musical- not a play- that I got a small supporting role- not a lead role, but not the background people either. I have to thank Kevin Spacey actually for inspiring me also because I read how he became one by meeting Jack Lemmon and then getting to be in one of plays. Thanks for your help!if you are under 18, your parents have to make you an actor. To make acting your life's work, you have to act in everything you possibly can, especially amateur plays. It takes a lifetime of effort to be an actor.
I'll tell you how I became an actress. I took drama in High School for 4 years and then I enrolled in an acting school here in the Los Angeles area. Since the studios out here are always looking for Extras and they are also looking for talented young actors and actresses, they will let the local acting schools and also the High Schools know what they need. There are also talent agencies that you can become listed with. Anyway, I went on a casting call to be an Extra in a movie at Universal Studios and the casting director called me aside and asked me if I had any acting training or experience and I gave her my resume. So, she had me read a few lines and then cast me in a very small part but I got to say two lines and it's a movie that has not yet been released Titled Wanderlust staring Jennifer Aniston. The assistant director who worked with me seemed to like me so, I'm pretty sure I will have other opportunities to work with them in the future. From what I understand, the major studios want people who want to be actors and actresses and have taken the time to prepare themselves by taking lessons. So, that is where you need to start.
The steps to being an actor are the steps you take.
Acting is usually one of three things: a Hobby, a Lifestyle and a Career.
Already because of the three different meanings there are three different paths.
In short, no path is the same and what worked for one person mightn't work for someone else.
Anyone can pick Acting up as a Hobby.
Whether it be picking up a script, grabbing yourself a camera, acting it out, filming it then uploading it to Youtube. Or seeing an audition notice in a local newspaper for an upcoming play, contacting the director, attending the audition and seeing how it goes.
As a Lifestyle, you've decided that Acting means something more to you long term.
Therefor it may be in your best interest to get involved with Acting Classes, Acting Schools, become a Member of a Theatre Company to generate more regular Acting Opportunities. Though how you enjoy Acting as part of your Lifestyle is up to you, same as enjoying Exercise as part of your Lifestyle.
The website Starnow:
http://www.starnow.com/curtisfarrell
Provides opportunities for Actors interested in both of the above and occasional professional opportunities as well.
For Actors in Australia I recommend against AT2 as it's very similar to Starnow - you get the same types of opportunities, though you have to pay over $100 more per year for them and they discriminate between Actors who do have an Agent and those who don't.
If you're after Acting as a Career there are certain things inside of your control and outside of your control.
What's inside of your control is keeping yourself ready, centered and focused - (this is usually done by keeping yourself busy with some acting opportunity whether it's paid or not). Having an Agent, representation, networking and looking for work.
What's inside of your control are the avenues you have to generate work, what's outside of your control is the work that comes in.
Lucky breaks are also outside of your control. You can do your best to be in the right place at the right time, though sometimes it's not a matter of what you know but who you know.

It's how I got mine.
Answers that give you a bulk ladder in how to become an actor are false.
As anyone can become an Actor just as anyone can become a cook.
Acting isn't the same as being famous and Acting means many different things to many different people.
The best step for you to take, is the step that is available to you.
Once you take that step I'm sure you will gain insight as to what you'd like to pursue and what step you'd like next to take.
All the best :)

Will billie joe armstrong be in the touring version of American Idiot the Musical?
-I know he played the part of St. Jimmy in Feb. 2011, and in 2011 the show is touring around America and I was wondering if he would be returning as St. Jimmy. Thanks in advance.I'm pretty sure Billie Joe won't be touring. I haven't seen a cast list for the tour yet, but it's a very skimpy schedule. He was basically on Broadway to help drum up business, since audiences weren't that full. I saw it (not with him in it), and it was really fantastic. It deserved to be sold out. The only thing I did hear of him doing it again was apparently they're making it into a movie, and he's going to do St. Jimmy in it. But, eventually, they'll have a tour cast listed and you can know for sure.He wouldn't be playing as saint jimmy, but green day members may appear randomly at some shows. before green day changed their website I looked at the tour dates for american idiot the broadway and it said no billie joe when you click on them
Acting Jobs vs Employment in everyday jobs?
-I study in acting and done some roles which i have been lucky that can revolve around my full time job - often filed at weekends or i have taken time off.
but i have had to turn down auditions etc if they take place over work or if i cant get the time off.
How do actors audition/get parts and juggle a job.
do many opt for part time jobs or are there actually jobs out there which are good and can be done in the weekend/nights/some time off?
im finding it difficult as i really need to keep a job down but i want to pursue this if there is any hope in it :(My daughter and her friends are actors, and most of them have jobs which they can do free-lance or part time, which is how they can be available whenever they need to for auditions, filming, stage shows, the occasional tour, etc.
For example - they work as photographers, website designers, typists, cartographers, aromatherapists, dance teachers, singing teachers, temporary office clerks, call-centre telephonists, graphic artists, eBay traders, silversmiths, home tutors, make-up salespeople, children's entertainers, and so on.
They've mostly had to train for those jobs as well as training as actors - it's a hard life!
Good luck!you need a job that has a very understanding boss or one where you can have someone cover for you while you go on auditions or you need to work at night so you can audition during the day.

I want to be a child actor help?
-hey i have said i want to be an actor in my other questions but now i want to be like a child/teenage actor my parents know i want to be an actor just not at my age right now and i really want to do this but they said that i should go and be in the school play to see if thats what i want to do but i dont want to be on the stage i want to on the tv screen os the big screen/cinema but preferbly on tv doing some sort of tv programme so any advice on how to get there and/or tell my parents?Hahaha I used to want to be a child actor. For one, it depends what you want to act on. You can go on google maps and search for the nearest acting studio, and ask your parents if you can go there. Acting studio's are pretty exciting, try it out.
