How do you find auditions for movies?

-Everyone tells me not to trust the internet but if I don't trust that than how do I find auditionsI think you could try sending in your resume and headshot by yourself but it's best to have an agent but.....

I think there are a few websites youcan trust. I would suggest this one. http://www.acting-auditions.org/ it's up to date and all the information you can get about the film is there. If you scroll down to the very bottom and there will be categories like Disney auditions, feature film auditions, etc. It's current, the info is pretty accurate (I've checked some of the addresses anddates) and they how character info and requirements, etc good luck!!



Also the guy who updates to website isn't holding auditions, he's going people available info about auditions so it's not a scam or anything
you have to get an agent, if you see anything else that promises you auditions, then they're fake or a big scam. Just to warn you NEVER trust anything that acts you for money upfront. The thing you need to do is join an agency. To find one is easy, google : your city agencies. Call them and ask them to represent you. You need a headshot and a resume before that though. Good luck !

That's what you need an agent for. An agent has their connections. You CANNOT trust the internet. The only website I suggest is "BACKSTAGE.COM". You need a great resume and head shot if you want an agent. You need to put your school (school costs A LOT OF MONEY and you need a GOOD one), your experience, your talents, and personal info like name, height, weight, phone number. John Robert Powers is a scam, along with BARBIZON and JOHN CASABLANCA. If agents ask you for upfront money, their scams. Agents only make money when YOU make money. They get 10-15% of what you make on film.





And if you want to be in a disney or nick audition, you WILL NOT FIND THEM ON THE INTERNET. DO YOU THINK DIRECTORS HAVE TIME FOR AMATEURS? they are not OPEN AUDITIONS, there closed. They're not desperate!



People can tell you disney auditions are on the internet and in a store bulletin, and it's usually most likely a pedophile trying to get you or a con. You can't always believe what you want to hear. Yes, you get what you pay for. NOTHING GOOD IS FREE. YOU NEED AN AGENT.
