-Okay, so this past weekend I was in Los Angeles & my cousin was at a convention for iPOP. He was trying out to be an actor. Earlier today his grandma called and said he got 4 callbacks & a 1st place trophy for all his Skits. I've always wanted to be an actor/singer. My family tells me all the time that I sing great. So when I was at this iPOP convention this past weekend, I seen girls/ Boys as young as probably 5 years old there. I kind of got teary-eyed because their going out for their dream and im just in the house, not even trying to go for my dream. I filled out a couple of applications for auditions but im kind of scared. And another this is, The reason i wont go for my dream is because my mom works all the time and wont be able to take me to some of the auditions. And I also don't have a agent. Any tips or advice? Please no negative things. If it's your dream.. Follow it.

'if at first you don't succeed, just remember you can do it & keep following your dreams'
If you want to do it, go for it! Only audition for parts that your mom can take you to because if you can't make it, then it's not meant to be. And don't be scared. If you have talent... Show the world. You'll regret later in life. <33 GOOD LUCK!sing and act at every opportunity, play, talent show, church, wedding, funeral, whatever. Get so experienced that you are not scared to audition for anyone. You also need to take private voice lessons and professional acting classes. iPOP is only as good as the results one gets. Your cousin is to be commended for his trophy and callbacks, which are interviews. You do not say if he was signed by any of the agents who interviewed him. If not, iPOP was an expensive learning situation and that's it.
Do anything and everything to follow your dreams. ( within reason) Make videos of yourself with different talents you posess and send them out to conservatories or even to casting directors. Tell them about your dreams and i think you should go far :) Never give up. Life is filled with chances!
AUDITION, AUDITION, AUDITION!
Since you are still young and are beginning to pursue your dream I reccomend getting as much experience as you possibly can through local or community theatre, join choir in school, take acting or singing lessons if you wish, and have fun with it. Once you do it for a few years and decide that you are truly passionate about acting, then look for professional auditions or send resumes to agents. But in my opinion, doing community theatre is all I could ask for because its what I love and im not in it to become famous. The entertainment business is really tough and onlly go for it if its truly the thing you want most.
Good luck!
