It is rare for someone who has no acting experience to just get on to TV/Films. Wanting something rarely means just getting it on a plate. Your parents are asking you to show how committed you can be to your dream and a way of gaining some experience and insight, if the school play is "beneath you," then join a proper local drama group. Junior drama schools are often head-hunted for talent by TV shows looking to cast and also it if you are a member you can start to build a portfolio of work and then you can consider going to castings yourself (with your parents backing).
TV & films often look for extras to take part in background scenes and there are websites/groups you can join that let people know when certain movies are expected to hit town (as it were) and you could then audition for an extra's position.
You're not going to get far with your dream without your parents support because you won't be able to afford to travel. They're going to be more likely to support you if you show them with actions how serious your dream is rather than just throwing a tantrum and saying "but I want it real bad." Time to show them you're growing up and mature. Get yourself a part in a local production, make sure you don't miss any rehearsals for petty reasons (good actors are very committed to their work), and get a taste for how hard it can be, putting in the effort required to keep up with school and commit to a show.
Good luck.
It's also several thousand other people's 'dream' who are the exact same age as you to want to become rich and famous, too many people are trying for an easy lifestyle. You have to really stand out and have talent.
If you're 100% set on this, then prepared for a lot of disappointment. Be prepared for criticism too, if you can't turn criticism into positivity, and do something about the criticism to become a better actor then there's also no point carrying this 'dream' on.
It takes a lot of hard work and travelling to become one, are your parents prepared to do this or would they rather have an easy life and just leave you in school?
