I want to be a child actor really bad please help?

-hey i have said i want to be an actor in my other questions but now i want to be like a child/teenage actor my parents know i want to be an actor just not at my age right now and i really want to do this but they said that i should go and be in the school play to see if thats what i want to do but i dont want to be on the stage i want to on the tv screen os the big screen/cinema but preferbly on tv doing some sort of tv programme so any advice on how to get there and/or tell my parents? i really want this but i also dont know were to start please help i live in northern ireland belfast area so please help this is my dreamA lot of actors start on stage and move to tv. If you look at most English actors on TV they have done work at the national theatre. The really good child and teenage actors tend too be ones with bodily problems because for licensing reasons it is easier if an actor is over 16 also they would have more training. Your best option is to join a good child agency. Do the play, it can't hurt your chances it will only help.
