I want to become an actress, where do i begin?

-im located in los angeles, no acting education just sheer talent and love for the career, age 21.Okay - you say that you have sheer talent, but to be honest, your own opinion counts for nothing.

Also, how can you say that you love the career when you don't yet have one? What you imagine, and the reality of being an actor are very different. It's a really tough job at the best of times, very few actors ever manage to earn a living by acting alone, and few ever land a really good role at all.

If you haven't had a few years of classes and gained loads of experience, you'll find it very difficult to get anywhere at all.

Acting is a very competitive business, and at auditions, casting directors expect to see proof of your training and experience - they won't bother with you if you've had none or little.

Most auditions are only found through good agents, but agents only accept professionally trained actors who have a massive resume to show them.

It would be like me walking into a huge hotel and asking for the job of head chef. Just saying that I can cook isn't going to get me the job - they'd want to see my college diplomas or uni degree and a whole load of references from previous employers.

It's the same with acting. It's a huge business, with huge sums of money riding on every single play, TV show or film, so no-one would risk employing a beginner.

Get into a good class and start learning - and for heaven's sake, don't go saying how talented you are. No-one likes a big-head.

Good luck!1st you need to be in some plays and or acting classes. You mainly need some experiences. Then you try to find some auditions online.
I thought you started by lying on a couch ;-)
acting lessons is a good way to start
