I would like to audition for Disney channel.?

-I am 13 and love to sing and act. I have no agent. How much does that cost and do i need one? I also live in Atlant Ga, are there any auditions close? I have braces, does that matter? Please help?

Thank you for your answers. To get to Disney, you have to have an agent. Sometimes agents do open casting calls and you can audition there. Disney doesn't do open casting calls, only agents can find you a spot in there. Agents get a percentage of the money of the profit from the projects. Here's some Alanta agencies:

People Store- www.peoplestore.net

William Reynolds Agency- www.williamreynoldsagency.com

J. Pervis Agency- www.jpervistalent.com

Houghton Talent- houghtontalent.com

Those are just some!

Braces don't really matter, Disney will/can edit it out. It only matters if you have problems with speech. You sing though, and that will give you an advantage in getting a job.

Alanta is a big city, so they might have open auditions, here's a good website to look into for Disney Auditions: www.filmtelevisionauditions.com

Hope this helps! To get an agent you'd have to have been taking acting classes for several years and had lots of experience doing stage plays, etc.

As virtually all auditions are only to be found through good agents, getting one is going to be vital.

No agent is interested in beginners, however much they love to sing and act.

Agents take a percentage of your earnings through jobs they've found for you, so they don't get paid upfront - that's why they only represent top-earners.

The braces are important, so even if they do make a difference, you'll just have to stick with them - it's your future!

Get into a good class or stage school and start working towards your goal - but do aim higher than the dreaded Disney! All the stuff on the Disney Channel is such exaggerated rubbish and the acting is terrible. They are awful to work for and are responsible for many promising actors' careers going down the pan.

Aim to be a real actor!

Good luck!
Im sorry but no, there are not any Disney Channel auditions going on right now. It wouldnt really matter if you have braces, I have them 2. If you wanted to do any auditions you would need an agent, but i do not recomend getting one. They are very expensive and theyre not vey nice either. I just recently auditioned for Disney Channel and there was a casting agent there. They said that they would like to me in a show (not as the lead, but as one of her bet friends), but I would need an agent first. The agent there said that he didnt think I was that good, and he didnt think I would be on the show very long. He wanted $5000 a month. I wouldve had to move to Hollywood and everything, so I denied the offer :( . I found out about this audition on tv, but in order to find real auditions, you need to have an agent because they are the only ones with access to find auditions. I love acting so much but I dont think you should get an agent. You should just look online for auditions because sometimes things leak out. Sorry I couldnt have better news!!!

I hope I helped!!!
Well firstly you can't just audition for Disney channel out of the blue. Disney channel normally does casting sessions in different cities and normally they're advertised on the radio and stuff. For those casting calls you don't really need an agent. Uh, the braces thing? It might matter, I mean it's TV, you never know. But otherwise you'll just have to wait for the next one. I don't think there will be one in Atlanta so you might have to travel for that kind of thing.
your parents have to get that for you, your braces are a no-no. There is an audition this month in Richmond. An adult can find it on the web.
disney auditions are in LA mostly and you need an agent to know about them. they are having an open call in virginia. don't know if they are going anywhere after that.
