My dream is to become an actress. I'm kinda stuck though.?

-I can't afford an agent, my parents are broke and can't afford to send me to acting school, I have no experience, my school doesn't host plays, I have no local theatre in a hundred mile radius, and I'm twelve. What do I do?just wait it out til you're old enough to move out and start making your own money so you can take classes. at twelve, you have absolutely no freedom which gives you no opportunity, and the economy is down so i understand the broke thing. right now, you're parents pretty much decide everything you get to do with your childhood, and if they don't have the money for you, then thats just the way it is :P

Sweetheart, I'm sorry your conditions aren't able to allow you to learn and follow your passion. Since you have no experience, i suggest you watch plays and musicals on YouTube, as well as PBS, because they host many plays such as las desirables. It seems your school isn't hosting plays...that is a big problem. Does your scho have a theater class? I suggest you find a teacher, and at least 15 other kids who are interested in hosting a play. Then go talk to the principal. Ask him/her If she is willing to donate $2000 to buy lighting, costumes, makeup and other expenses. I'm sure she is willing for that suggestion to become reality. Some good plays to begin with are "Big Bad Musical" and "Alice in wonderland." when you have gained experience, create plays such as "fiddler on the roof" and "the wizard of oz." best of luck! you don't need a special school for this. you need to be where there are things to do. you will need to wait till you can get where there is something to do. agents do not cost. they only get paid if you work.

but your not going to find any where there is nothing to do. there is unfortunately no magical way for you to do this, given your circumstances. you have to get where there are things to do. not a way around that.
wait. its never to late to be one and wait for your chance to come about. and besides, youre 12. maybe later you wont want to be an actress. but if you do then good luck in the future but remember you may not be meant to be one
Try looking up mini classes on YouTube and practice in front of the mirror!!! I'm an actress and it really helps!!! It may seem a little silly at first but you should really try it.
