Special Skills on my resume...?

-It feels weird asking this on the internet lol but i'm auditioning for Step Up 4 and I was thinking of applying "fast learner" to the "Special Skills & Talent" area of my resume since I might be one of the dancers in the movie, would "fast learner" be suitable for "Special Skills"?That isn't really a "skill". A skill is something you learn to do and can practice to improve on, like playing an instrument or juggling. If I saw that on a resume I would likely think nothing of it because it sounds like a filler statement that anybody could use. If you want them to know you are a fast learner, then prove it at the dance audition by picking up the dance combo very quickly. You could also employ the "Ask and Move" technique at the dance audition - if you are standing in a back row while learning the dance, raise your hand and ask for clarification about one of the steps while walking forward. You have now placed yourself in a spot where you will be highly visible and let the auditioners know you are intent on getting the steps perfect.
