Why do people still go to Hollywood to be discovered as actors when most movies are being made in Canada?

-Movies and TV shows are actually filmed in hundreds of locations, but the companies tend to be based in a few cities only, like Hollywood, New York, London UK, etc.

I don't think it's true that most movies are made in Canada, although it's often used as a location.

It's more practical if actors, casting directors, agents and so on are all based near each other, and Hollywood is packed with all of them!Many major production companies and talent agencies are based in L.A., and that is where films are conceived and cast. A lot of location filming is done in Canada because it is more affordable and there are plenty of remote locales, but the business end of movie making is done in Hollywood.
even if that is true, hollywood is still the home base for most agencies. it takes agents to get parts. plus the studios are in hollywood.
that's where most of the casting is done. movies might be made in Canada, but their not all cast from there. where movies are cast is not always where their made and vice versa.
But the people who make the decisions are in Hollywood.
