community theaters in your phone book. any college near you that has film programs will have student films you can try out for. look in the classifieds of your newspaper for ind. film auditions. for

professional tv and movie auditions, you will need the proper agent to know about them and you will need to be located where they are.Open casting calls are 9 times out of 10 a publicity stunt. If there is an open casting call (which is very rare), then you are seen after everyone who has an agent and experience.



The only place where people are hired at casting calls is IN MOVIES! (lol)



To get acting gigs, that aren't extra work, you need to be trained in acting. You need to be involved in every community project that you can be in.
