The Pain of Getting Branded?

-I was just wondering how painful is it to get branded. I would appreciate it if whoever answers this actually has (had) branding experience, although that's not exactly absolutely necessary. Can someone please describe it to me or maybe compare it to something else. Although optional, if someone who got branded in college answers, that would be great.well the initial pain is the worst if you can push through that then your nerves will be destroyed and then the rest gets much easier it will probably continue to hurt like any other burn does for a few days. imagine it like jumping in the ocean: its cold and shocking at first but becomes more tolerable the longer you stay in.
